Graham and Linda Cooper started the family business on the Coventry Road in the 1970's, Graham looked after the butchery while Linda ran the Bakery, with extreme hard work and dedication whilst also raising a family, their ambition began to be rewarded. Coopers gained a reputation for quality produce and excellent customer service, this in turn enabled them to expand and further enhance the business by building the team.
The Cooper family are currently in their third generation of serving the local community. In 2005 Graham's son Phil joined the team to learn the ways of the family business, bringing with him skills acquired from the hospitality, retail and leisure industries, and in 2013 we went limited.
Today, our team of Master Butchers have decades of experience between them and will prepare each cut of meat to individual requirements, and our on-site bakery, using family recipes, ensures that all of our baked and savoury products are prepared daily for supreme freshness.
In addition to traditional cuts of meat, we also offer a variety of speciality products such as made on-site sausages, our famous pork pies & scotch eggs. and our delicately hand-made pies are prepared daily using our family's secret pastry recipe. *Ready & New for 2024, we now have our own, newly installed, dry ager offering a range of fresh steaks & joints.
